Elisa was tired, but shoveled steak into her mouth, moaning as she did so. Lancelot laughed, watching her eat.

“I have a feeling you are going to crash as soon as you are full,” he stated and Elisa nodded.

She looked over at Leta laying on the couch her, guards all around her. “Leta, is your family all gone? Or are they hiding too?” Elisa asked. “Do you have a mate?”

Leta stretched and came over to their table. “No mate yet. I know he’s out there, but I can’t see him. I don’t know if any of my family survived. When our world was attacked, we all fled, except for my mother. She was beheaded by those that raided our world. I have two younger brothers and a sister somewhere out there, but don’t know where. Ever since my mother’s death I feel nothing inside for my father. No, I think I’m all that is left.”

“Well you are not alone now. I have to warn you, my mother is out there. She can be crazy, but she’ll love you,” Elisa took the sip of her milk and stretched. “When is the wedding?” she asked looking back at Lancelot.

“Three days, and your mom will arrive in the morning, along with all the things for the wedding. I do believe my father is regretting his choice to allow your mother to plan this thing,” Jason stated.

“Now I’ve called around and I have a place called Marsha’s Bridal coming to show you dresses tomorrow afternoon. I figured that would give us time to meet with the parents, get you some clothes in the morning. We’ll have a formal dinner tomorrow night.”

Elisa moaned. “When do I get to relax? I’d love to hit the games…” Already Lancelot was shaking his head. “You will not be going down to the machines with everything that has happened. Plus, do you really believe they’ll allow your guard to go with you?” Lancelot pointed to the five Neobinders laying on the ground watching them.

“Really? They have to go everywhere I go?” Elisa looked down at Leta.

“I’m afraid so. We all do. I will always be close to you. You and I are connected now.” Leta moved back towards the couch. “But not to worry, we’ll scare everyone off if anyone comes around you.”

With that, Elisa moaned, getting up and going to the bedroom. “Good night,” she went to close the door, but Lancelot shook his head.

“Not going to happen. From now on you sleep with us, Little Geek. Now strip and climb into bed. You need to feed from Tarek before you sleep.”

“But…” Jason shook his head coming over to her. “Sweetie, we’ve seen all of you, and we want your skin next to ours.” Jason helped her off with her robe and shirt while Tarek climbed naked onto the king-size bed.

“Come here, Little Geek. Allow me to feed you.” Elisa crawled onto the bed and into Tarek’s arms, feeling safe as she did in the others.

As she snuggled, the weight of everything that had happened to her came crashing around her hard.
